Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Operon (“Operon,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Operon on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@operon.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Operon to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights.
• Collect sensitive data you are not authorized to collect, or send unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Probe, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other workspaces, or its infrastructure.
• Abuse automated generation, storage, or submission features beyond fair use.

Subscriptions and billing

Operon offers a free tier and paid plans metered by submissions. Paid subscriptions are sold and processed by our merchant of record, Polar, who handles payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until canceled; you can cancel at any time and will retain paid features through the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Your content

You retain ownership of the forms you build and the submissions you collect (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights and any consents needed to collect it.

Service availability

We work to keep Operon available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

Termination

You may stop using Operon and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to Operon or others. On termination, the rights granted to you end and we will delete or return Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operon disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product and applicable law evolve. When changes are material, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
