Support

Help with your account, your forms and the AI apps connected to your workspace.

Contact us

Email support@useoperon.app and we will reply by email. Tell us the email you sign in with, the workspace name and, for a form problem, the form’s link. A screenshot of what you see helps us answer faster.

Never send a password, a card number or a sign-in code by email. We will never ask for them.

For plan and refund questions, open Billing in your workspace first. You can also email us about anything there.

Connect an AI app

You can connect Operon to AI apps such as ChatGPT, Claude and Codex. The app can then read your workspace and, if you allow it, prepare and publish forms for you. Setup screens differ between apps and account types; look for the option to add a remote MCP connection.

  1. In the AI app, add a connection with this address: https://www.useoperon.app/mcp
  2. An Operon window opens. Sign in with your Operon email and password, or with a code we email you. This sign-in is separate from the app and from your Operon dashboard.
  3. Pick one workspace and choose permissions. Read permissions start ticked. Drafts, AI drafting and publishing stay off until you tick them.
  4. Go back to the AI app and ask it about your workspace or forms.

If the app later says it lacks a permission, connect again and tick that permission, plus any others you still want the app to have.

What a connected app can see

A connection covers one workspace and only the permissions you ticked. Each permission allows the following:

  • Read workspace and allowance — See workspace details and remaining AI allowance.
  • Read forms — Inspect form schemas, drafts and published versions.
  • Read aggregate analytics — See counts and daily totals without submission answers.
  • Create and edit drafts — Change form drafts in this workspace.
  • Use AI allowance — Generate or edit drafts using your existing AI allowance and any spending settings you already enabled.
  • Publish forms — Make forms available publicly, within your plan limits.

Submissions are totals only. A connected app can see how many submissions arrived, how many are still unhandled and daily counts. It never receives an individual respondent’s answers, contact details or uploaded files. Read those in your Operon inbox.

A connected app cannot change your plan or billing details, invite or remove members, delete forms or see payment details. Publishing needs the Publish forms permission and an explicit confirmation on every publish.

AI drafting through a connected app uses your workspace’s AI allowance, the same as the Operon builder. Whatever the app receives is then handled under its maker’s own privacy terms, for example OpenAI’s for ChatGPT and Codex, and Anthropic’s for Claude. See our Privacy Policy for how Operon handles your data.

Disconnect an AI app

  1. Sign in to Operon and open Settings › Connections.
  2. Find the connection. Each one shows the app, the workspace and its permissions.
  3. Select Revoke connection, then Confirm revoke.

Access stops right away and your Operon dashboard stays signed in. Removing Operon inside the AI app may not end the connection on our side, so revoke it in Operon as well. Connections also end on their own after 30 days; connect again to keep using one.

Trouble connecting

  • Connection limit reached — each account can keep 100 active connections. Revoke one you no longer use in Settings › Connections, then try again.
  • Wrong workspace — revoke the connection and connect again, choosing the right workspace.
  • AI allowance used up — the workspace owner can manage the plan in Operon. Manual edits to drafts keep working.

Still stuck? Email support@useoperon.app with the AI app’s name and the message it showed.
